Dimaggio did have a long hitting streak in 1933 where he hit in 61 straight...

But that is not the minor league record which is also the "Professional" baseball record....:D

Joe Wilhoit, who hit safely in 69 straight games for the Wichita Jobbers of the Western League in 1919. The outfielder hit .505 during his streak and finished with a league-leading .422 average for the season.
