On 8/15, he was traded to the Mets for Shawn Estes.

On 10/9, he signed a 1-year deal with the Mets.

On 10/11, he was picked up by the Tigers on waivers.

Today, 1/13, the Mets announced that they'd come to terms with him on a minor-league contract.

Julie, he wasn't here long enough to even stop by the Starbuck's, let alone actually have a cup of java. I doubt anyone around town ever saw him.

At the current pace, the Mets should waive him shortly after Spring Training.

I know that. My point was that I couldn't find where the Tigers had waived him. I looked up their transactions, and only the 10/11 transaction was mentioned.

It's not like it's a major transaction, it's just odd that everything would be posted except that one thing.

Aaaahh. I understand now. The Tigers have had a couple of waves of departures this off-season. I could see where he might get lost in the shuffle around here.
