For those of you with us for the first time this fantasy season we participate in a very prestigeous fantasy baseball league...

I usually have 2 managers as they have the league split into AL only and NL only...

Last year I had Karl who is not with us anymore run the NL and I had Lee run the AL for myself....

Now I'm gonna see if Karl want to still run the NL but I am busy enough and dont follow the AL as much to run that league....

So, I need a dependable manager to run this AL only team and make us proud here at Addicts..

The draft date is Draft Sun. March 9th, 1:00 pm EST

I already know I cant make that draft as I have a Mets/Astros game to go to that day so I definitely need someone that can draft that day....

This is big time folks.....
Sites represented in this league are:
Roto Times, Roto World, Sporting News, Baseball Think Factory (part of Baseball reference.com), Sandlot Shrink, as well as other known names around the net.....

Please PM me and let me know if you are interested in running the AL league...

I'll get back to ya's after Karl let's me know if he will be working the NL...

Thanks,
James
:D

This thread three+ page lengths long is killing me.

James, you know I'd do it, but I can't commit to a draft on a Sunday afternoon.

I may know when it's closer to the day.

I saw the post earlier today. I'm not sure if I can commit to doing it because of my present situation. I am making progress with my leg but only time will tell if I can be available for this.

My name is Jeff Hobbs..I would be very interested in running the NL team.... I have been playing in Roto Leagues for 12 Years
And have been very successful. Am very good at evaluating Kids, I think that is my strongest suit... Getting young players ready to break out.. Like last year....I got Padilia,Perez, Wolf and Clement for a combined 12 units.... While others were spending 20 to 35 on Vasquez,Ortiz,Glavine,ETC.....I also traded for Spivey early when the guy thought he was a Fluke....
Anyway I am sure there are many Qualified people that you know.... But I feel I am very qualified for this even though I am a Rookie on your Post... Thanks

Any word on the draft... I understand if you want to let someone you know better do it... Although I would love to do it.. Just let me knowTo error is human...to blame it on someone else is more Human!

The league was a lot of fun, it was just too bad that I had some things come up that made it hard to be as active as I would've liked. But I was able to move the team out of the cellar after critical injuries really hurt the team for most of the season.

Good luck to this years' AL and NL teams!

Lee, you have the desire and time to ryn the AL team again???

I didnt think you had wanted to.....I'd love for you to do it.....

As it is now, if I dont have a replacement from the site by tomorrow night (Thurs) then I will have to let him open it to another team...

Let me know.....

If you can't find anyone else, then I could take it on. I just get busy at time and have a hard time getting to the site every now and then. Just let me know if you don't get anyone else. I wouldn't want you to have to drop out of the league because of not having an owner.

Out of curiousity... It says Addict Sports was the AL runner up? I'm assuming this is a mistake because the fsru website had us 7 out of 12 in the standings...

Guru, I wish I could do the league, but I don't think I'll be able to. If the draft was at a different time then I could swing it. Sorry man!

I havent begun putting together a cheat sheet if you want to start on one of those, or maybe just rankings per position according to your opinion..

GURU:
Coming in a little late on this one as it looks like you've already got all the help you need. If not, I'd be interested in the AL team. I've been doing this for fifteen years, commissioner of three leagues during that time, and won an AL only league in 2002.
