Dodgers Reach Deal With Cora
LOS ANGELES -- Shortstop Alex Cora avoided salary arbitration by agreeing to a one-year deal worth $1.5 million with the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Cora hit .291 while splitting time at shortstop and second base last season, his fifth in Los Angeles. He drove in 37 runs and had 75 hits. In the field, he turned 32 double plays and had five errors.
