I wonder how this will change our country. certainly airport security and stuff will be tighter which is fine IMO. is the chaos over i wonder? when does it end.... i will be glad when baseball starts again and some semblence of normalcy

no no jesse... that wasn't anything in response to what you had said... in fact, i didn't even read your message until after i posted that... I was trying to think of something to say, and that was the best that I could come up with...

I did not know that anything had happened until a couple of hours ago (about 2:00) because for the first time in forever, i actually fell aslseep and stayed asleep. I have been spending the past 2 hours trying to reach my best friends since i was 5 years old who lives about 3 blocks from the pentagon... and i guess that was just all i could think of.

Let us know if you reach your friend, Shawn. My sister's boss's in-laws live right across the street from the Pentagon. They live on the 8th floor and actually saw the plane hit it! A guy I work with's Aunt works at the Pentagon so he sent her an email asking if she was OK and a half hour later he got an email that simply said "Yes". She called a little after that.

so far, i have not heard anything. I have called his home line.. his work line.. and his cell line...

I did talk to his parents about 20 minutes ago (they live here in barkeyville) and they have not heard from him yet either.
