How bout that shot against the Pistons? That's the third or so game he's won on a last second shot  :D He's coming through this year in the fourth quarter (much improved from last year, especially from the 2002 the playoffs, where he disappeared at the end of games).

yeah he's pretty clutch :fro:
There's been sort of a 'changing of the guard' in Indy: Jermaine is turning into the go-to option at the end of games instead of Reggie  :D .
Actually, i just watched the replays of the shot on ESPN.com and it looks like the Pistons got screwed :devillook:. hehe...oh well...shucks for them...http://jeeptalk.org/crack/smilies/contrib/lynx/magsurprised.gif

yeah it was after the shot clock (note: my last post). Was the shot clock set wrong? There was 24 seconds on the shot clock and 24.1 seconds on the game clock when the possesion began, and Jermaine shot it with 00.4 seconds on the game clock. the shot clock was on 00 but according to the game clock he got it off at the 23.7 mark. So if we were supposed to have the full 24 seconds on the shot clock at the beginning of the possession then it was the right call, but if we weren't (and i can't see WHY we would since when Brad pulled down the rebound the possession was supposed to begin then) then it was the wrong call. Either way, the 18 minutes the refs spent trying to make the call was upsurd :hmm:.
Should be a good game today. The Pacers need to win it:
1) to reach the 30 win mark at the halfway point
2) to prove they can win in Detroit
3) to get a solid lead in the division
GO PACERS! :2guns:

GO PACERS! :2guns: I don't know. Guess it really doesn't matter any more. But,i won't complain. The Pacers did play equal, if not harder than the Pistons that game, so thats why i'm not crying to hard over the call. But, we still got a whole half ofa season to go. It should fun.
By the way, MVP, i don't think so. :freak:

yeah MVP is a stretch, but at least this now he should be up there with the top players in the league. Not at the same level as Webber, Duncan, Garnett, etc., yet, since this is only his second all-star calibar year. But if Indy keeps playing the way they're playing, i wouldn't be surprised if Jermaine at least gets mentioned as a candidate :).
