Looks like theres some pretty big names on that list. Johnson, Martinez, Vlad, Tejada, Alomar, Biggio, Colon, Gonzo, Lowe, Lowell, Ichiro. I'd love to see the Cubs make a run at Tejada, and I'm hopin the Sox hang onto Colon.

Craig Biggio supposedly is meeting with Astros in the next few days/weeks to discuss an extension ... The general consensus around here is Bidge has owner Drayton McLane wrapped around his little finger, so I expect something to be worked out.

Brad Ausmus is hard to predict right now ... He supposedly loves it in Houston and is close friends with King Biggio and others ... Maybe they can work out a deal for a 1-2 year extension with him and slowly work the kid John Buck into the job.

lol, yeah, i'm sure next year Ilitch will be spending a lot more money anyways next year. I got a feeling he will.

This should be an interesting trade deadline though. Especially with Arizona's two best players becoming free agents, with an already tight budget, and a very old team.
