... as he regains strength and confidence in his surgically repaired arm, which version of Jason will it be? In some starts, he is around 85-86 tops till the 3rd inning, then he gets loose and runs it up to 94-95 MPH on the gun. Maybe if he starts getting loose around 6:30 he'll be over the 2 inning warm-up period. Having won 7 of our last 11, maybe we are on to something...

I'm a little bit worried about Schmidt. He came back strong and in recent starts he's struggled. To me that indicates he's fatigued and his arm may be worn out, which means another spot on the DL. Trade him while you can; he is a pending free agent and I don't think he will come back strong. Anything the Bucs can get for him is a bonus.
