bomb scare in my neighborhood

i can't believe this..... when will this end????

i was just at the video store to return my VERY late video (i can't even tell you how much i owe)..... all i said was "sorry it's late.... i was in manhattan during the explosion...." and the lady got very quiet, said nothing, looked at my card and said "$5 please" and i quietly said thank you.....

then after an uncomfortable pause, i said "did you know anyone there?" and she turned away, her eyes on the floor looking very sad and nodded yes.....

then i said "well, at least we'll be safe here (at Brighton Beach)...." and she looked up and practically yelled "OH NO DIDN'T YOU HEAR??? TWO WOMEN WERE ARRESTED THIS MORNING FOR PLANTING 2 BOMBS UNDER A CAR RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE SCHOOL ON BRIGHTON 12!! they evacuated the school.... the car blew up......"

OH MY GOD that is 1 and a half blocks from where i live.......

this is just too much..... and two WOMEN.....:ohno:

People are sick sick sick! I hope no one was injured!

There were two bomb scares in Newark Penn Station four blocks away from where I work. And today there's a bomb scare in the building next to mine. Bomb squad, dogs, building evacuation --the whole works.

Apparently a woman called the police saying her husband (also a cop) called her from his cell phone under the rubble in NY. The people got frantic trying to rescue this alive officer only to find out that the stupid ***** made the whole thing up. People almost died because of her.

Do people really need to participate in the drama so much?

That lady calling about her "husband" being alive is sick. It's beyond sick. I honestly don't understand how people can be so twisted and evil. :angry: :angry:

Unfortunately there are many sick people living amongst us and this tragedy is like Christmas to them :frownsqua

The bomb scares and the internet and phone scams are truly diabolical and they will be going straight to hell !
