So this question was in my page-a-day calendar and I thought it was interesting.

Who were the only four players in Major League history to play all nine positions in a game?

I only know of 3 so I'll give the 3 I know:

Scott Sheldon

Bert Campaneris

Cesar Tovar

Scott Sheldon, Bert Campaneris, and Cesar Tovar did indeed do it. Steve Lyons never has. One more remains. :)

His name may not appear on Major League record books, but he is the proud owner of one record. Steve is the only Major League Baseball player to play all nine positions in a exhibition game.
oh i see, it was an exhibition game :banghead

Technically you are right, he did do it, but not in a regular season game. Good call though. :D

I believe Steve Lyons did that during one of the Cubs White Sox exhibition game that was held during the regular season that was held usually held right before the all star game before inter league play came into existance.
