Velarde announced his retirement last week ... And I doubt we'll see Finley play this year.

Reboulet and Valentin signed minor league deals with Baltimore.

Andres Gallaraga inked with Frisco.

Lofton should be a huge bargain. He only made $1 million last year and he will probably make about the same this year.

Kenny Williams says he has been "racking his brain" trying to figure out ways to get Kenny Rogers or Chuck Finley to fit on the team money-wise.:eek:

One of the names on that list I'm totally in the dark on is Chuck Knoblauch ... One of those few players I got to see on three levels: High School, College and MLB ... I haven't heard anything about him this winter, did I miss something other than he had a horrible season with the Royals?
