hows everyones day?

hey folks. its gettin to be later in the day. thank heavens the work day is getting close to done. its been a chaotic day trying to figure out what the heck is going on with some alignments. :( gah! someone screwed it up in the past and wanted me to take care of it and i had no clue whats goin on (as im not really involved in the project much). so i pawned it off on another engineer who actually is very familiar with it. he figured it out, but i had to redo a whole alignment all afternoon (hence new profiles, and chains). BLAH! at least i got it mostly figured out

anyways, how is everyones day going so far? anything nearly as exciting as mine? lol. hope so! BTW, its a robust 28 degrees and sunny skies.

"Swell" would be a great way to describe my day since I went to a pizza buffet for lunch ... Think I need blowout preventers on my britches.

Putting the finishing touches on an O&M manual for a new unit and listening to a CD of Italian love songs that our crazy Operations VP gave me ... My Italian is pretty weak, but I think a lot of the words are at the very least quite suggestive.

Get to drive 190 miles tonight when the work whistle blows, so I'm not really looking forward to that ... But it will be nice to get home for another 3-day weekend.

Just damn peachy!!!!

I went to my Parents house to pick up something and in the process wound up slipping down the handicap ramp and hurt my leg and back. Then I have to drive an hour to a closing only to find out the stupid attorney forgot some paper work. So There I am limping out to my car when I see this IDIOT back right into my car!!!!! Don't ask me why he did it... he just did. He gets out of the car all MAD ( he's mad!!??) he says to me..... "I can't believe this $hlt" I looked at him and laughed in his face.... " you can't believe it??? that's my car!!!.... "oh" he says. So he's like we'll just exchange info and be on our way. I was like " No way!!" called the PD and filled out the report. and he's all pissy that I did that!!! Oh Freakin well!!!

So know I'm home all achy and still hurting waiting for Mike to come back with a $$$ amount. Shouldn't be that much.. just a scratch, paint and a little dent!!

So I'm having a lovely day!!

flat tires freaking suck! especially when you have no jack to do it with. lucky my parents are on their way to pick me up and fix the flat. argh!!!! (my dad stole the jack from my car.)

oh, i guess the jack was there, i found it (under the spare of course) but you know what?!? the damn thing was frozen solid to the metal, and is now so rusted out, it is useless. the part where it connects on both the jack and the handle both are rusted out. JEEEEZUS!!! oh well. i probably wouldnt have been able to loosen the lugnuts on the tire without the twisty thingy, since i dont seem to have one of those either!!! JEEEZUS!! can my day get any worse?!?!
