Pirates host third annual job fair
The Pittsburgh Pirates will host their third annual PNC Park Event Staff Job Fair on Monday, February 3. Hundreds of game-day opportunities will be available to job seekers throughout the Pittsburgh region. All candidates interested in working at PNC Park during the summer of 2003 should bring their resumes and smiles to the Press Entrance (located on General Robinson Street) of PNC Park at either 10:00 a.m. or 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Candidates should be prepared to stay at the Job Fair for approximately two hours.
"The Pirates are committed to making the PNC Park experience a pleasant one for all of our guests," said Pirates Vice President of Operations and Facility Management Dennis DaPra. "We stress the importance of great customer service and the organization is excited about adding new members to our PNC Park team. This job fair allows everyone from high school students to senior citizens the opportunity to be a part of the greatest ballpark staff around."
Available game day positions include guest relations hosts, greeters, ticket sellers, luxury suite wait staff, concession workers, security personnel and cleaning crew. Hosts of the PNC Park Job Fair include the Pittsburgh Pirates, ARAMARK Sports and Entertainment, Levy Restaurants, Outback Steakhouse, Contemporary Services Corporation (CSC) and Central Properties Services.
