How many consecutive pitches can a batter take in one official at bat without swinging the bat??

ok lessee...he takes 5 pitchesl; 3 balls and 2 strikes. On the 5th pitch a runner is thrown out stealing to end the inning. He continues his at bat next inning, takes three more balls, 2 more strikes and then a deciding 6th pitch. So I would say 11.
