How's this year looking for the Halos? Any new signings? Talk to me. :smokin:

I haven't heard anything either PP. If I were a Halos fan, i'd be a little concerned.

The Angels basically are standing pat with last year's team. I'm disappointed because they could still use some improvement. They could definitely use another good SP, but they didn't even try to sign anyone.

They signed Eric Owens to be their 4th outfielder which was a good signing since Tim Salmon is getting older and needs more days off.

They signed Brad Fullmer for a cheaper price since no one signed him when he was released. Outside of that nothing important has happened.

starting rotation

Jarrod Washburn
Kevin Appier
Ramon Ortiz
John Lackey
Aaron Sele (not sure when he's coming back from his injury)

Percival is still the closer with Francisco Rodriguez as his 8th inning setup man

infield/outfield the same

C Molina brothers
1B Scott Spezio
2B Adam Kennedy
3B Troy Glaus
SS David Eckstein
CF Darin Erstad
LF Garret Anderson
RF Tim Salmon
DH Brad Fullmer

that's the Angels scoop at this time, not a whole lot of changes and even I'm a little less optimistic then I was. I was really hoping they would pick up a good SP (wait, I think I said that already)

Well I wouldnt be too concerned as that is the team that won it last year....

They got all the key elements back plus F-Rod for a whole season this season....

Bob, they still Ben Weber??

I like that guy....

I'm not too confident. I think if you check my predictions, I put them to finish 3rd in the NL West.

Sounds good to me Bob. With Seattle as old as the hills, I see you guys doing quite well again.

Ben Weber.:D Gotta love that psycho.

Hmmmm.....it will be difficult for them to finish 3rd in the NL West considering they are in the AL West:D :moon: :clap2:

Sorry couldn't resist.

Guru-I think they'll be solid again. They have a strong lineup and are good in the field. I just would have liked to see them go after Colon, Vasquez, or another decent SP to help them out.

It was getting late, well considering what time I got up at. Don't be sorry, I'd have gladly done the same to you.:D
