I'M TIRED OF BEING COLD DAMMIT!

I've worn fur more often THIS MONTH ALONE than I did all last fall/winter.

And we're supposed to get more snow tonight and then Sunday.

Of course, since my brother is coming from California next weekend, I bought him a down jacket at a thrift store so that he wouldn't freeze his wussy California butt. But now it looks as if we might actually crack 35 by late next week. He arrives on Saturday morning, so who knows what's going to happen by then.

We could break 55 and his wussy butt would still be cold...good thing you got that jacket.

I can't take the cold anymore...there is just Ice everywhere. I couldn't shovel and Mike was working so the front of our house is an Ice rink...it's deadly.

I mailed off the down jacket yesterday, along with a pair of gloves I got from a street vendor, a Mets watch cap and a couple of 1-day MetroCards. The down jacket cost $20 at a thrift store. It was FILTHY, so I took it to a dry cleaner. Except for the fact that there's a little bit of wear, it looks pretty darn good.

That's the smartest thing to do....Thrift store....He's never gonna wear it there so why pay a lot of money.....

Your a smart chick there Julie.

SEING IS NOT BELIEVING:
Yes, that's Mike Piazza fielding grounders at first base yesterday - but before you think Art Howe is planning to move Piazza from behind the plate, this was only pitchers fielding practice, and no first basemen have yet shown up in Port St. Lucie.

I am absolutely lovin' seeing Tom Glavine as a Met. And I'm also lovin' seeing Coney there in the mix.

I tell ya -- with this sucky weather we're having, my vacation can't come too soon! They're now saying that this will be the worst snowfall since the Blizzard of 1996. I'm spending the day at a friend's place tomorrow and, if the snow's bad enough, I'll crash on her couch tomorrow night and come home on Tuesday to get ready for work. It's always nice to have company when you're snowed in and, in the absence of a cute man, I'll take videos and junk food with my best friend. :D

I can see your point, Jules.

But my feeling right now is just the opposite. After spending the week with hordes of people at the fashion shows, I'm really, really looking forward to being snowed in by myself. :D

A book, a couple of movies.... yessiree..... :clap2:
