Each sport has its own stuff about home field/court/ice. Which is the most legitimate an edge?

I think hockey. Between having the last line shift and knowing the way pucks will hot the boards, it seems the most concrete edge.

Don't know if you can pick just one sport. I think it varies so much. I mean the Sox in the 70's had a huge home-field advantage, loading up on power, and knowing all those wall tricks.

Then there's the Frozen Tundra, which until this year, no one else could win at in the playoffs.

The Black Hole in Oakland.

The old Boston Garden.

I think the fan base has more to do with home-field advantage than anything.

i know in college basketball this year, the visiting teams aint doin so well, even the big time schools are havin difficulty winnin on the road against the weaker teams.
