"cubstripes" that is :D I think the Cubs will make a serious push for him if they get a chance. Vlad, someone, and Sosa. I think a Patterson, young pitcher, and a few prospects could do it.

The Spos aren't gonna trade him--they're gonna have to wait till he goes free agent. And no one can outbid the Skanks or haven't you noticed. If Steinbummer wants Vlad he'll get him. And he wants him.

You think the Spos will just let him walk, thats just plain dumb, getting nothing for a guy that good, even the Expos arent that dumb. THa yankkes will have to fork up some playas if they want Vlad

They Yankees will probably just wait till Vlad becomes a free agent, and from what I hear Vlad wants to play there too :angry:

No the Expos could trade him, but he still becomes a free agent unless the team that would get him signs him. So the Yanks would just wait till he's free and sign him then.

he'll test the market. only a few teams can afford him. cubs, yankees, mets, some like that.
