Haha. Actually, I'm not into the whole Valentine's Day thing. Not because I'm a grinch or anything, but because the things done on Valentine's Day should be done all year round for your loved ones. Same thing for Mother's Day, Father's Day, etc. I do give gifts and all of the other Valentine's Day and Father's and Mother's Day stuff, but not because it's a holiday ... I do it because you should do it anyway. I digress.

Actually, Shawn and his girl spent the day both at work... Thought it would be better to make some money than go out and spend some....;)

We did have a good afternoon before work though. Tomorrow (today) marks 6 months since we "officially" began dating. We will be celebrating that by going to work again... WOOHOO...

Sunday, we may actually go to a monster truck rally. I know.. it sounds redneckish.. but I like watching things wreck. haha


Josh, I agree with you 100%. Why do we need a special holiday to tell someone we love him/her??

After work, me and my husband Rob went to our new house. We bought a house 2 weeks ago, it's a fixer-upper. So we're fixing it up before we move in.

Last night we knocked down 3 walls. :thumbsup: Good venting activity. Then we ordered in Chinese and watched the Bruins. We bought eachother a card. We said no gifts, cuz the house cost us everything.

Thanks for thinking about us. Sorry to all for my slowdown in posts the last couple weeks. I have been real busy. My sons basketball season is winding down and I have been playing Christian Contemporary/Worship music with some guys as we try to get ready for a May worship service in the park. I have been practicing guitar so much I cant type well with my left hand. I cant feel the keys anymore.

Demolition derbies are great. Saw a school bus derby once near here. My only problem is that it is always tough to sit in that long line of traffic afterwards to get out. All I want to do is to ram the car in front of me... shift into revers... and slam into the car behind me.

Jacqui, Jacqui, this would not be my Valentine's Day date, silly. For that, I took Lori to work... :D
