As the veteran Tigers' beat writer points out, here's is some information on the relatively unknown (to Tiger fans) righthander.

i haven't heard of him before, but it sounds like he might bring something good to the team. sounds like he's determined to make a name for himself with the Tigers, lets hope he does it with good pitching, and winning games

Let's hope he pitches as well as he talks.

I don't know if you can get the signal where you are, Jen, but Thursday afternoon's game is on the radio. 12:45 p.m. is the pre-game on their flagship station.

Their primary station in Detroit is 1270 am. However, as I'm not sure if their signal upgrade is complete, I'm not sure you can pick them up where you are. Lots of people on this side of the border can't get the station, so you may have to scan the dial to find the game on one of their other affiliate stations. Good luck.

Thanks so much! I know that i get the station in Windsor, but I am not 100% sure here in Sarnia... however, it doesn;t hurt to try! besides, I'd rather listen to the game rather than my stupid teacher :D

1270, thats the fan right?

The Fan's 1130. They are the Pistons network. 1270 is now calling itself The Sports Station. It was Team1270 until a few weeks back. They have the Wings, Tigers and Lions.

I'm sure the Tigers have a radio affiliate in Ontario. I'll try to find the station number.

I found the list. The only one in Canada originates from London. You may get the signal just as well on 1270, especially if the signal boost is complete. Here's the list, anyway.

You guys are lucky, because up here in Upper Michigan, they don't carry the Tigers games anymore.... so I get to sit around and wonder what the score is! haha! but summer is great, because then I get to see them all the time!! GO TIGS!!!!!

Where do you live boudz? I know i got Fox Sports Detroit in Marquette.

As for Knotts, i know their gong to give him every opportunity to succeed in the majors, and i do think he'll make the rotation, but i don't know how much better he's going to get. He's 26, with little major league experience, and really hasn't proved much yet, but we'll see.
