Baseball is finished for the season, in these parts anyway, as the Rockies played their last home game today. They have three games remaining that will mean anything, and then only to the Snakes. They will finish out in San Diego, which will keep either team from playing the spoiler. Come on, Spring Training!

The Rockies rallied at the end to pull this one out - one of the better games Jamey Wright has pitched here, holding Helton and Walker to a combined 1 for 6.

Rockies win Game 3
John Thomson pitches a complete game shutout, only the second at Coors Field this season! The other one was by Hampton, against the Mets. Thomson also had a big day at the plate, going 3 for 4 with 1 RBI and 2 runs scored.
