Is now our 4th outfielder.

Anything we should know?

Depends on who you ask and if he's healthy.

I think he's a good defensive outfielder with a decent arm and decent speed when he's healthy, but the problem is he's been hurt parts of the past three seasons.

Decent speed, decent glove, no power, ugly man.

Good speed, good arm, decent fielder, terrible plate discipline, slap hitter who doesnt slap very often. Also, for a guy with his speed, he doesnt steal many bases, thought that could have been because of the Pirates system.

Yeah man. Look who was the team leader in steals last year. Pokey Reese, no. Jason Kendall, no. But short, fat, nude Brian Giles with 12.

There was a story awhile back about some of Giles eccentricities. One had him taking batting practice nude (the indoor cage) to try and break his slump. I am not sure if there is any truth or not.

You're coming to Pittsburgh to see Giles take batting practice nude??

You'll be disappointed ... he only does it in the indoor cages.

Well, I'm coming to see the Park, see the Sox play, blah, blah...

the Giles thing would just be an added bonus.

Adrian Brown showed flashes (no pun intended) of potential, but never developed any consistency. To me, he always hit into way too many double plays also.

You never know though. I think you got a lot better shot with him than Bronson Arroyo. :D
