uh oh i just read somewhere a source that may be unreliable http://forum.addictsports.com/baseball/ubb/wink.gif that they have given a second interview with wren. dont know if it was true if they would let it get out but i heard it anyway.

My feeling on this is the same as on any trade rumors... I'll believe it when they are introducing him at a press conference...

Mickey White also got an interview and is the only in-house candidate. From what little I know about him he has an eye for young talent, having directed the last couple of drafts.

White is who I'd like to see get the job, but unfortunately, I doubt that he will. I think McClatchy has all but promised to go outside of the organization. White would be an excellent choice, seeing he has directed the last few drafts that produced Bradley, House, Young, Burnett, Doumit, etc., and he also campaigned for the Giles trade.
