2-1 Buccos in the top of the fourth. Gary Matthews, Jr. has a two run homerun.

The Mets' run came on a Robin Ventura RBI double.

Matthews is on a roll. Off hand, in the past week or so he has three homers with several RBI.

He started off hot, then went cold, and now he's starting to heat up again. It's going to be tough for Dave Littlefield not to bring this guy back.

I wasn't reading it, because I was watching it on TV... one of the nice things about the Mets being in the race still is that they are televising the games against the Pirates at the end of the season. Otherwise, as with the Cubs and WGN, they would probably be showing BJ and the Bear re-runs...
