Angels Reach Deals With Three Relievers
TEMPE, Ariz. -- The Anaheim Angels agreed to terms on one-year contracts with relievers Ben Weber, Scot Shields and Mark Lukasiewicz.
Minor league infielder Alfredo Amezaga and outfielder Nathan Haynes also agreed to one-year deals.
Weber was 6-4 with a 3.24 ERA in 63 appearances and 78 innings last year. Shields went 5-3 with a 2.20 ERA while pitching in 29 games. Lukasiewicz was 2-0 with a 3.86 ERA in 17 appearances.
