I can believe it ... He's a lefty, they can last longer with anything close to decent stuff, and always had a fairly resilient arm, dating back to his high school days in Houston and college days in Austin ... He stays in relatively good shape, once said he didn't get into weights at all ... Plus he's more than 2 years younger than Clemens who he followed at U of Texas.

It just seems like he's been pitching since before I was born. I remember going to Tribe games as a youngster and he was always pitching.
