What about this. Carlos Beltran to Detroit, for Matt Anderson, Omar Infante, and Andres Torres? All three are expendable, and Kansas City needs help at all positions, and needs to get rid of Beltran by the end of the year.

What would you do at SS? I thought Infante was suppossed to play there.

Ramon Santiago is better, and more ready to play now. Not to mention minor leaguers Anderson Hernandez, and Scott Moore.

I would do this deal in less than a second. However, KC would pass on this deal in even less time. Great idea, though.

I don't know if they'd pass on it. Look what they traded Jermaine DYe, Johnny Damon, and Kevin Appier for. This would be a lot more than what they got for any of those guys.
