Let's see if I can think of a few words to describe the Rockie's 9th season - pathetic, dismal, underwhelming - ok, that's enough for now. I think I'll wait a couple of days before I really tear into them. I'm sure there may be a couple of nice things I can say, but none come to mind at the moment, and I hate to be totally negative...

I feel your pain RB.

I can tell you I was never so happy to see a baseball season end before this season.

At least the Rockies are exciting to watch with their offense. The Pirates put you to sleep.

Yeah, it didn't end soon enough for some of us. When Spring Training begins, we can fill out our rosters again and make convincing arguements as to why our teams will defeat all comers (maybe). Even this off-season looks as if it may be fairly dull.

Now we can enjoy the play-offs without worrying if our teams will get knocked out early. I think I'll pull for the Snakes, just because Schilling and Grace deserve it - along with the rest of that over-the-hill gang.
