Ya know the only other team to make there Ws debut against the Yankees were the 1926 Cardinals. They won by the way!!!!!

Last night after they won the announcers were saying all this stuff how the yankees did it for NY. Excuse me, but does anyone really believe that a few baseball games are gonna make up for all the loss, pain and suffering going on right about now?????

This is sorta' hard for me, but I'm pullin' for the Snakes too (even though they are in the Rockies division). I just hope those old geezers are up to the task! Of course, the Yanks aren't a lot younger...

A question for Mets fans - Would you have been able to root for the Braves (or Phillies, for that matter) if they had won the NLC? Just wondering...

Actually Bill if it came down to the Braves vs the Yanks I would actually pull for the Yanks...
The Braves are the ONLY team in which I would cheer on the Yanks...:biggrin:

I thought that would be a tough decision...those division rivalries are sometimes a little deeper. With the Rockies and Snakes, though, it's not like there's any history, or anything (13 years MLB experience between them).

Bill and James, I thought about this a few days ago and actually realized that I could root for Atlanta if they had made it in. OMG! :uhoh: I'd root for anyone against the Damn Yankees! :2guns:

Yeah I guess the same would apply to you guys, if you lived down here and had to endure the Braves fans you may see my point of view:biggrin:
