New Smileys Idea

I got an idea, it could be like baseball, this is a baseball forum ya know.


Every once in a while new smilies (rookies) come along.

With them, we should make some smilies retired, so they are gone. Bonds won't play forever, smileys won't last forever.

A couple smileys will never retire though, like the biggrin. That smiley is always used and there would be no smileys without it.

Slated for retirement I believe are...


:drinkin: :spam: :baby: :cat: :scared:

Do you agree with me on the method or smileys needing to retire???

Steff my suggestion to you is to start a poll in the Dugout about what smilies could go. ( run it before James before you do it though o.k.)


I suggest the Dugout because most of the members stop by there from time to time.

Good luck I did it a few months back to make way for the new ones.....it takes a lot of patience.

Anyhow, that is a great idea.

Iknow every member makes a stop in there (most frequently me ;)) and I would get good results.

Ummm, I'm not all that excited about deleting and adding new smilies...

It is kinda a pain...I have to upload them to the smilie forum then add them to the smile area of my admin forum.....

I'll add and delete a few but I'm not going crazy on this...Sorry....

No.. leave the smilies as they are. A lotof time has been devoted to developing them and all of the ones which we have are there for a reason.

It's not worth all that extra work for James. If it was simple then maybe, but he described what a pain it is.......
