It was very cool. Everyone was cheering for Sammy when he got up, and deservingly gave him a standing O when he hit. Everyone stayed on their feet cheering until he came back out for the curtain call.

Cincy fans are horrible by the way. Only the 4th game in a new ball park with a history making game, and they had thousands of empty seats. Attendance was only 29,000. And the Great American Ballpark wasn't anything special in my opinion. It was nice and all, but nothing to make it stand out. It actually reminded me a lot of the Jake.

i was suprised to hear about the low attendance. wasnt it quite warm out? and it was the evening! cmon! thats when attendance should be at its highest.

It was low 70s upper 60s. There was threat of rain, maybe that kept people away, but no rain actually fell.

were still 2-2 though... Estes isnt going to be all that good so i guess we cant expect him to win too much:(
