Longtime Dodgers coach Joe Amalfitano was rehired by the team Thursday as senior adviser to baseball
operations. Amalfitano, 67, spent the last three years in the Giants organization as special assistant for
player development. Next season will be Amalfitano's 49th in pro baseball, and 16th with the Dodgers.

I just had to make one observation on this - it wasn't that long ago that someone from either of these organizations (Giants and Dodgers) wouldn't even acknowledge the others' presence. How times have changed...will Baker be next?
