Kansas appears to be the surprise team heading into the season. They've only lost 3 games to this point. Toronto is coming off a tough series against the low Devil Rays and look to rebound.
Pitching Matchups:
Kyle Snyder (First start) vs. Roy Halladay (0-2, 4.96) Halladay is throwing the ball ebtter but needs a win. If everything goes well, it comes here.
Cory Lidle (3-2, 6.23) vs. Darrel May (0-1, 4.50) Lidle is among the leaders in the AL in wins, but he needs his ERA to improve. This one is too hard to figure out.
Miguel Ascencio (1-0 4.50 ERA) vs. Pete Walker (1-1 3.22) Walker is a very good pitcher and off to a good start, but he never throws enough innings. So this one is in KC's favour.
Who to watch out for: Carlos Beltran wasnt part of KC's big start because he was on the DL. Now he's back and looking to make some noise. For the Jays, Jayson Werth is was recalled a few days ago and looks to get himself started.

Jesus, that man is a friggin run producer! everytime he is playing he is knocking in runs.
Beltran got an RBI. Which isnt bad for my fantasy team.

Man. I was just looking at the box score and the Royals scored 1 run in every two innings! And is Vernon Wells clutch or what?!?!? A homerun in the 9th right when they needed it!
Well done! :cooldude:

Vernon Wells rules. He must be near the top in RBI leaders.

KC wins game 2 as Ken Harvey hit a 3 run shot. Jeff Tam is now 0-2.
Offensively, Phelps hit a homer, I think he will get hot right baout now.

There will be a different starter for KC today, and it's early Cy Young favourite Runlevys Hernandez.
Hernandez is 4-0 with a 1.10 ERA. This dude has pitched only 4 games and he looks like the best pitcher in the league. I'm going to watch this game and see if what they say about him is true!

Pete Walker really struggled today and is out. Runlevys is pitching decently but gave up a homer to Carlos Delgado. He should improve to 5-0 though.

Jays came back and won 10-9! Mike MacDougal blew his first save this year.
We were losing 8-1, then Bordick RBI single tied it up. :D
an error by Angel Berrora tied it up.
That sucks for Runleyvs Hernandez, he pitched pretty damn well until he was taken out of it.
