they're DONE
DONE DONE DONE DONE DONE DONE DONE DONE DONE DONE
I've never seen a team so talented look so utterly confused on offense.
i HATE this. i HATE having a coach who doesn't know what the hell he's doing; i HATE choking away every game; i HATE blowing double-digit leads; i HATE not having confidence in Reggie; i HATE this team's inablity to get the ball to JO; i HATE being young and inexperienced; i HATE imploding; i HATE getting kicked out in the first round.
Get that idiot confused coach OUT OF HERE!!! :Pissed: :Pissed: :Pissed:

God, if Isiah is still here next season, i could KILL KILL KILL KILL KILLL!!!!!!!!!:Pissed: :Pissed:
PLEASE DONNIE, GET HIM OUTTA HERE!!!!!!!
He says Reggie's "The Man" during the regular season and that he'll always be a starter and that he's so important to the team...so what does he do when Reggie struggles during the postseason? HE BENCHES HIM! You freakin MORON!!!! Do you not LEARN??? I DON'T GIVE A F%#K IF REGGIE'S 0-9, WTF IS RON MERCER DOING PLAYING IN THE FOURTH QUARTER???????? :hmm:
And Ron Artest is our MOST IMPORTANT PLAYER in must win games (look at last year for christ sakes!!!), so you BENCH him in crunch time????
IT lost this series for us. 3 years, 3 first round exits. And to think we could have had Carlisile :banghead :banghead :banghead :banghead :banghead

..and Boston was supposed to be the best matchup. No one to guard JO, only two players to worry about, didn't have a great regular season....
This could only happen to Indy :hmm:

It ain't over yet Milky.
Forget Isiah, God couldn't have stopped Pierce today.
It was classic seeing Harrington talking trash to Pierce, and Pierce just dropping that 3 on him.
Indy's young, believe me, they'll learn. I hope it's over, but it's not yet.
Something is wrong with Miller, that's not him.:umm

Technically no, but if this team can choke away a double digit lead in one must win game, why should i expect them to win another must MUST win game? :( There's a feeling of impending doom:ugh:. If Indy catches the Celts sleeping and win game 5, expect the third "Boston Massacre" in Game 6. I just can't see this team winning any game the way they're playing now.

I'm just praying JO doesn't bolt to San Antonio or Orlando. I think he has more loyalty than that, but ya never know nowadays. If he leaves we're royally screwed

This entire season he's been declining. I still expected him to pick it up and turn into "Playoff Reggie," but that obviously hasn't happened yet. He hasn't had much oppurtunity in the past two games since he shot only 9 or 10 shots total. I don't know if this is just a slump or a sign that Reggie's really done

how was i supposed to know Reggie wouldn't show up :notme:
This was the first time this team was in the playoffs...THIS team meaning a team that didn't have Reggie there to save thier a$$es whenever they got in trouble.
And yes, at least they MADE the playoffs :D

The Pacers do NOT blow. They are an INCREDIBLY talented team. I DETEST Artest, but I'd cut my right arm off for him. JO is outstanding.
Sometimes the Underdog just wins.
I think Miller is going to say if Isiah goes I stay, and Indy will kick ass.:)

If Indy wins 10 straight championships ren would still think they blow ;)

That would be the perfect scenerio   :D
hey PP, i heard Boston had Indy's former Defensive coach (?Dick Hartman?) on thier staff. Is that where he went? :umm

Yea Milky, he's here.
Cedric Maxwell was saying after the game that he was talking to a friend in the Indy organization, and they say there's a lot of internal probs between Miller and Isaih, and Cedric really thinks Isaih will be fired REGARDLESS of the outcome of this series, and Reggie will stay in Indy.

Yeah i think Pacer fans would kill him if he isn't fired :D. I don't know ANYONE who supports Isiah anymore :D
But who to replace him? :umm Van Gundy is the leading candidate so far, Lenny Wilkens is available too, but he's getting up there in age so i don't know how much longer he wants to coach. That ex-Pheonix coach is available too..
I'd like to see Mark Jackson coaching sometime along the road, but right now we really need a coach who knows what the heck he's doing

Van Gundy is going to Toronto :eviltongu

well if Indy wants him that might change :p
Why would he want to coach a team that averages 6 injured players a year when he could coach the "most talented team in the East"? :umm :D

Did you like Larry Bird as a better coach? And why did he leave? He took em to the championship
Special_K19
04-28-2003, 06:38 PM
Larry Legend doesn't believe any coach should coach the same team longer than three years. He thinks they tend to get stale and it is necessary for a coach to leave to spice things up.

I just read that several members of this Pacers message board i frequent will be at Game 5 and will try to start a "Nah nah nah nah, hey hey hey hey GOODBYE" chant should Indy lose :(.
Directed to the one and only ISIAH THOMAS of course :clap2:

Man I hate Pierce! I called at the beginning of this season that his numbers would go down, and people just laughed at me!:umm
He's so predictable! Just take the freakin charge and your problems are solved! He loves juset driving it straight in totally out of control! He needs the refs on his side in order to win!:eviltongu

both teams looked horrible in OT. first point was Ronnie's FT with one or two minutes left...
what i thought was gonna happen was they would make one free throw and win it

And i thought Jermaine O'Neal was underrated :hmm:
For one, the laughter is justified, as Paul Pierce's numbers this season have not gone down significantly at all. He's scoring 0.2 less points than last year, grabbing 0.4 more rebounds per game, and averaging over 1 more assist than last season.
Paul Pierce is not a fluke. He's an incredibly underrated player, and one of the best players in the league. Definitely one of the most clutch players in the league, if not THE most clutch player in the league.
He's so predictable? Well Ron Artest is a pretty damn good defender if you ask me, and he hasn't been able to stop Pierce from scoring 28 PPG this series. Pierce this series has proved that he's one of the league's elite players. I sure as hell would LOVE to have him on my team.

Pierce isnt underrated, but he is one of the best in te league, no doubt about that.
Pierce is my all time favorite player. Its hard for other 2 guards to defend him, hes too big. Also, its hard for SF to defend him too, cuz hes too fast. Thats why Kobe dominates too. Hes on the same boat. Also, his defense is outstanding. He'll be back for game 6, trust me. Especially, when its in "The Jungle"!!! :clap2:

Its not always a bad thing that numbers go down. Especially when you make it to the playoffs. Its just means that everyone else on the team is doing well. Well enough to take the pressure off both Pierce and Walker. Also, he doesnt only drive to the basket, he'll drain the shot from anywhere on the court. ANYWHERE!!! He'll take it to the hoop when theres an opportunity to do so, and he's doing it the smart way, thats why he lead the league in free throw attempts and free throws made.

a pacer having problems with isaiah?! no way! it cant be!
milky, wasnt the reason the pacers traded rose and best because neither player liked isaiah. this guy is determined to dismantle the team. Theres no doubt. hes gotta go.

hey BD :wavey2: haven't seen you in a while
Yeah, Jalen never really got along with Zeke :hmm:, but i don't blame nor credit Isiah for that trade. I know Jalen was pissed after he was traded because he had rallied to get Isiah here in the first place, and then Isiah turns around and trades him. But still, it all worked out for the best, as Artest and Brad Miller are two of Indy's most important players:D. That was a good trade, i hated it when it happened because Rose and Best were my favorite players, but Indy became a much better team because of that trade. I credit that trade to Donnie Walsh:D :fro:
