Re-sprained the damn thing playing hockey today. Never really stopped hurting from the last time...

Sometimes injurys tot he hands and that area never heal. i have a few myself. I broke my wrist when I was younger and it still hurts. Maybe the fact I use it all day long also. After awile it wont bug you at all even though it will hurt. What ever dosen't kill you just makes you stronger.

See... I ama waiter... so I have to carry trays a lot, obviously. I initially hurt it in November some time, but never really gave it the rest it needed. Worked all winter long... and never even took a hockey game off. It wasn't somethiong which hurt all the time, but every once in a while, it would. Now, tonight, it feels almost like my hand is asleep. It really sucks.

Similar deal here. I need surgery on both my hands currently but with the sars(spelling?) thing going on they wont book it...it's a load of bs...I work as a roofer and swing a hammer all day long.

I spent some time this summer doing some dry walling in my spare time. That was pretty tough on the wrist too... I hope it dowsnm't come to the point of needing surgery.. but if it does, I will just add it to my list of both knees and shoulder..

sorry to hear that hon.. get your self a good wrist brace. one that goes on your hand and your wrist. I used to waitress years back and had Carpel Tunnel hurt like a *itch. the brace was really good when I had to carry trays loaded with drinks. plus you'll get better tips;)
