Hi guys, I'm in a 10 team, 5x5 h2h league with daily roster changes. So far I'm dominating this league but I have a problem. Problem is, I have 6 great players trying to fill 5 positions!

Here's roster:

C - M. Lieberthal
1B - D. Lee
2B - A. Soriano
3B - S. Hillenbrand
SS - E. Renteria
OF - B. Williams
OF - M. Ramirez
OF - B. Abreu
Util - A. Kearns
Bench - M. Sweeney
Bench - Jose Valentin

SP's - B. Colon, D. Wells, R. Wolf, J. Moyer, R. Hernandez, C. Zambrano
RP's - E. Gagne, J. Julio, L. Carter, S. Shields

There's enough room in pitching for me to keep all my relievers active while playing my SP's whenever I want so that's no problem.

My problem is, I have Lee, Sweeney, Bernie, Manny, Abreu, and Kearns and only 5 spots for them. Since it's a daily transaction league I find myself scanning the probable starters list to see who would be a good hitter to bench that day. Problem is, this is getting really tedious. If I could get good value for one of these guys and upgrade another spot, should I do it?

I was thinking of upgrading 3B or SS but I'd have to pretty much get Arod or something to do any better in those categories, since they are doing great as well. How about one of the OF's for Posada? The guy in the league who has Posada also has IRod so he has a backup C and might be more willing to do that deal.

I've also thought of just doing nothing and saving that extra guy in case I get hit with an injury. This would probably be my best bet, but it sucks to bench someone like (for example) Sweeney after he hits .125 for the week, then the very next day he goes 2-5 with a HR and 3 RBI, on my bench.

Always play your superstars reguardless of matchups.

Chances are Hillenbrand will be traded to the Cubs soon, where his numbers will drop while he adjusts to the new league.

Sweeney is better than Lee, get him back in the starting lineup.

I dont know if I could see Shea's numbers drop that much in the national league. He might have probelms with some of the top tier pitchers out there, but with him moving to a park like Wrigley with a welcoming fan base I could see him doing really well.

Yeah, I know to play my superstars regardless of matchup, problem is I consider all 6 of those guys stars. Also it gets pretty rough to stash D.Lee and all those sb's on my bench. Thanks though, I'll probably end up just riding it out and having insurance in case of an injury.

Will there no spot in your lineup that you could update with a player that an owner would be willing to give up.

The best that you might do is try to get a good but likely a lesser pitcher.

I would try to trade with a bad team becouse there is a better chance of making a trade happen if they need it more then you do.

Secound, Don't be afraid to offer a sweet deal becouse a pitcher that will give you a ERA around 3.00 and 6 or 7 Strike Outs a game would do alot more to improve your team then having a star player that would be doing nothing seating on your bench.
