Jody Gerut: In his second game ever, went three for five with an RBI and 2 runs. WELCOME TO THE BIG SHOW!!!!
C.C. Sabathia: He pitched well for 6 innings, shutting down the A's bats with 4 hits.
Goofballs :banghead
C.C. Sabathia: Problem is he pitched 7 innings, giving up 3 hits and 2 runs in his last inning of work.
Eric Wedge: For leaving C.C. in. After the 6th, C.C. already had 100+ pitches and was clearly not throwing well enough to go abother inning.
Bill Selby: 0-4 today with 6, SIX!!, men standed.
Danys Baez: Just didn't have his normal stuff in the 9th and gets the loss.
