Devil Rays Place Seay on DL
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- The Tampa Bay Devil Rays placed pitcher Bobby Seay on the 15-day disabled list with left shoulder tendinitis.
Seay was 0-0 with a 4.05 ERA in nine relief appearances.
The Devil Rays plan to activate first baseman Travis Lee from the 15-day disabled list for the start of a six-game road trip Tuesday at Minnesota.
Lee has been out with a right oblique strain. He is hitting .347 with one homer and five RBI in 12 games.
