Baseball Heaven on Earth
For five magical days in July, Major League Baseball® and John Hancock Financial Services will transform Chicago's McCormick Place into Baseball Heaven on Earth. With more than 40 baseball-themed attractions, the John Hancock All-Star FanFest® interactive baseball spectacular is the largest baseball event in the world. It provides baseball fans of all ages the once-in-a-lifetime chance to experience the fun and excitement of the Major League Baseball Midsummer Classic®.
Here are just a few of the activities you can take part in at the John Hancock All-Star FanFest event:
• Test your skills in state-of-the-art video batting and pitching cages where you can face life-size images of Greg Maddux, Roger Clemens, Sammy Sosa, Paul Konerko and many more!
• See baseballs, bats and other tools of the game being made right before your eyes.
• Learn about the game of baseball from real Major League Baseball players, coaches, managers and umpires in interactive clinics.
• Take a walk through time and see priceless treasures from the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum in Cooperstown, New York or pay tribute to the heroes of the Negro Leagues.

MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL® is proud to bring the 74th All-Star Game® to Chicago this summer and with it, John Hancock All-Star FanFest®; five days of baseball heaven on earth. From July 11-15, McCormick Place will be transformed into a baseball fan's dream come true, with more than a quarter million square feet of state-of-the-art interactive games, clinics, free autograph sessions, live entertainment, collectibles, and much, much more! To make this all possible, we are looking for some exceptional people to join our MVP Volunteer Team.
John Hancock All-Star FanFest® is in search of enthusiastic fans age 18 or older, who love baseball, enjoy working with people and are interested in volunteering for a truly memorable experience. Put on one of our limited edition team uniforms (yours to keep), and become a host, information guide, skills game coach or any of the dozens of other interesting and challenging positions at the world's largest baseball showcase. To be on the roster you must be available to work one shift for at least three consecutive days during the period of July 11-15.

Parking and Directions to McCormick Place:
Getting to McCormick Place is easy and convenient. There are two main parking lots on the McCormick Place campus. All are managed by Standard Parking and are in close proximity and walking distance to the convention complex. Lot A garage is the primary parking location for John Hancock All-Star FanFest based on its location within the facility. Lot A is a six level garage with an adjacent surface lot and is located directly across from the Grand Concourse/Gate 4. Covered walkways from Lot A leading directly into McCormick Place and the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place Hotel also provide added convenience.
