I'm taking it that's what our friends are attending today. Looks like they got a good game.....tie score into the 9th...6-6... Can't wait to hear what it was like for all to meet!

Kathleen, every in Detroit went very well except for James' luggage. Seems he had some airline problems between FLA and Ohio, he missed a connecting flight and his luggage didn't arrive with him.

However, Jen, her uncle (whose name I have forgotten), me, James, Ray and Kevin got great weather, at least in the sunshine, and got to watch one of the Tigers better contests this season. The home team forced extra innings and had a shot to win in their half of the tenth.

There was lots of talk about baseball, our terrible fantasy league teams and, of course, the Addicts boards and it's inhabitants. Oh, yes, pictures were taken, too. All "G" rated from what I recall.

Last I saw our friends, James and Kevin were heading for Detroit's Metro Airport in search of the missing luggage (which was due to arrive here by 5:00 pm yesterday) and the other half of our travelling band was heading down I-94 for Chicago before going to Milwaukee.

Thanks for the update. Sucks about his luggage and the Tigers lose, but sounds like you guys had a great time.

Lets hope the rest of his trip goes well. We now the Brewers game went well for James...since the Mets actually won and took the series 2-1 Shocker!!!:eek: :D

more updates. jaymz got too tired and stopped over near gary indiana (poor fool). but me jen and her uncle ed moved on to kenosha to visit my dog and parents.

today we went to the brewers game and watched floyd hit a grand salami and benitez pitch an uneventful 1 1/3 innings. jaymz didnt charge armondo either. :laughing

then we left jen and her uncle ed to make their way home and me jaymz and kevin went to the white sox game. it was fun.

tomorrow is the Baseball is america, wrigley (hopefully no rain) and fun stuff. its been a blast so far!

extreamely cool! I didn't want to come home! (but who didn't already know that I wouldn't want to months before hand! :D ) I just don't have that kinda cash though or I would have went for the rest of the trip. I am really gonna be bummed when he gets the New York on Wednesday and meets all you guys! *sigh* it's just not fair I tell ya... why did I have to be born Canadian? :(
