I have 7 outfielders right now with 3 of them on the bench with the util. spot

I'd like to drop one to add another pitcher but it's so hard to pick becouse it's a very good group of them.

Here's the Outfielder I happen to have:

Austin Kearns
Corey Patterson
Carlos Beltran
Manny Ramirez
Carl Everett
Jay Payton
Vernon Wells

Cory is the most dropable.

What you should do is trade 1 or 2 for a top pitcher.

Carl Everett is a likely candidate because he has been known to fade down the stretch in years past when he put up All-Star numbers. You have probably got the best stats you will see from Carl. He is in a contract year so he is motivated for the first time in his career. Sell High.

I agree on Patterson.

I'd work a trade if at all possible. I'd hate to drop Patterson if I were you. He's a guy who can put up 20 HRs and 20 steals. That can be pure gold for a team. He is also putting up a lot of RBIs and Runs batting at the top of the Cub's order. I'd rather drop someone like Jay Payton (in an ideal world, I'd keep him on my roster and play him when he's at Coors).

If your league counts K's, dump Corey. If they don't, try to deal Everett or Payton while they are hot.

Thanks, For the help.Heres what I done.

I Trade Petterson with 3 good pitchers to a guy that was badly in need of pitching for Curt Schilling and Scott Rolen.

Then I returned Traded Rolen becouse I didn't need him for I already had Chavez to play third to get Edgar Renteria becouse I needed a better Shortstop.
