Royals' Sweeney, Beltran Ailing
KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Two of the Kansas City Royals' best players are struggling with injuries.
Mike Sweeney, who leads the Royals in home runs and RBI, is expected to miss the next two or three days with a strained right hamstring.
Carlos Beltran, unable to play center field, has been limited to DH duties the past two days after hurting his arm swinging at a pitch.
Beltran missed the first 14 games of the season after straining a muscle on his side in spring training. He hurt himself last week while trying to check his swing.
