Padres Activate Eaton From DL
MILWAUKEE -- San Diego Padres right-hander Adam Eaton, one of the cornerstones of the team's young rotation, was activated from the 15-day disabled list.
Eaton was disabled, retroactive to May 5, with a strained right groin. He has not pitched since May 4, when he surrendered three runs and five hits in five innings against the Philadelphia Phillies.
In seven starts this season, the 25-year-old Eaton is 1-3 with a 3.73 ERA.
While Eaton was sidelined, the Padres used 25-year-old left-hander Roger Deago in his place. In two starts, Deago was 0-1 with a 7.84 ERA.
