I've gotten an interesting trade offer, could use some help on it

I'm currently in last place in my league...pitching wise it's because I have Wade Miller and Derek Lowe who are pretty much killing any pitching stats I've got going. My offense is doing ok, except that K's count against us and I have Sexson, Burrell and Dunn who are all K machines. I've been offered Jeff Bagwell, A-Rod, and Tom Glavine for my Carlos Delgado and Albert Pujols. Pujols and Delgado are both tearing it up right now, but A-Rod would be nice. Also, I have Tejada at short already. Any thoughts???

i would not do the deal
Delgado,Pujols and Tejada
are fine for your offense
Glavine will not help that much
you are not getting rid of any of your so called k machines or era killing ptchers
so this trade does not help
in my opinion

I tend to agree with edro. Glavine isn't much and Bagwell is in kind of a slump and A-Rod is just A-Rod. But Pujols and Delgado are too hot right now to part with. With Pujols you're pretty much guaranteed a .300-30-100-100 season. I say ride Pujols and Delgado's hot bats as far as they can take you.

yeah, I wouldn't make that trade because Pujols is a potential MVP this year, not to mention you can play him at multiple positions. And I'll bet that Delgado ends up with better numbers than Bagwell.

Darn Slusheroo, that's probably one of the very rare times you wouldn't trade for A-Rod ... Can you get a better arm in the deal than than Glavine?

No, I tried to set up a counter offer, but I've got good hitting and I actually have good pitching just Lowe and Miller are not performing. I also have Matt Morris and 2 upper-tier closers. He had Meche and a couple of other unproven pitchers, but I'm not trading Pujols and Delgado for some of those guys. Felt kinda weird to turn down a deal for A-Rod, but I have Tejada so I wasn't going to lose a whole lot at the SS position.

On a side note Willie I have some great pitching in this dynasty league I'm in and I traded Jason Johnson from Baltimore and got Derrick Lee from Florida straight up!!!!!!!
