I'm down here in Atlanta...and was at the Braves-Mutts game last night...when it was over the Buccos were still up big according to the out of town scoreboard...and now I see today that they lost 10 to 8...wtf? :angry:

Williams blew the save big time. Big 3 run homer in the 9th. What was ad was we tied it only to have Meadows come in and give up a pair of runs the next inning. Now they reward Meadows by starting him today and he gives up a 3 run shot in the first. By the way, Vogelsong was brought up to possibly start and they changed their minds and wen with Meadow. Ryan, according to Littlefield in the pregame, will be sent back down tomorrow, Fogg will be reinstated, and probably Mahomes will stay down.

What the heck is the point of bringing up Vogelsong if you're not going to start him?

Can't believe the Bucs went with Meadows instead of Vogelsong ... I imagined the whole reason Vogelsong was brought up was to start today.

Of course, if Meadows can't get outs, it just may be Meadows who is demoted.

Good point on Meadows. Mahomes actually pitched well in his last outing. They could send Vogelsong (DL said he will go back down) and Meadows down and activate Fogg, and bring back Mahomes. DL also said Torres will likely be back in the pen if Wells can go next week.

Torres belongs in the pen ... he's a very good three inning guy (long relief), but once he gets into the fourth and fifth innings, he hits the wall.

Still disappointed Vogelsong was demoted .... we KNOW what Meadows can do.

Officiallly Vogelsong was not brought up. Although he was here in the burgh, he was never activated and mahomes wasn't officially sent down. while I've not seen anything official, I believe that tomorrow when Fogg is activated that Mahomes will then be sent out. It turns out that Vogelsong was just here for a "visit". :umm
