Confusing Development

In tonight's Indians game, Jason Bere started but lasted only one inning. It wasn't a bad inning, he gave up one run and then left. Probably because he was hurt. Billy Traber went three innings before I got really confused. I wasn't watching the game as I was watching the Stanley Cup, but Brian Anderson came in in the 5th. Brian Anderson? The starter Brian Anderson? What does this mean? Is he in the bullpen and Jakey Jake in the rotation? hmmmm, must research now.

The fallout of 3 starters pitching today is this: Bere goes on the DL, Traber takes his place in the rotation, Brian Tallet is called up to replace Traber in the bullpen, and Anderson starts on Sunday. Anderson's start was pushed back due to C.C.'s injury and he was scheduled to work a practice session in the bullpen today anyhow, so he just pitched in yesterday's game.
