lol Nanner... I knew you wouldn't go long without a Loewen photo gallery. The fans didnt really react too much when he was introduced on Friday. This just means that the fans arent paying attention to the organization that much anymore, which is sad. But I think that the franchise seems to be headed in the right direction lately, and I'm excited! Loewen will be our ace within 4 years!

Dang.... that's too bad. :( Because I'm with you.... I think signing him is a really exciting development. It shows commitment to what this team could be like in a couple of years.

Beattie and Flanagan, despite their utter inability to sign a decent FA last offseason, have impressed me. I am really seeing a return to the "Oriole Way", with a strengthening of the farm system and this signing in particular. And I've read about system-wide rules now to make the minors more disciplined, like requiring them all to take the first pitch of every at bat to increase plate discipline. And requiring everyone to wear their socks up to their knees. These rules may seem petty, but they really show a system-wide committment to discipline and unity. I like the way these guys think.
