There's a possibility that Astacio may be done for the season:banghead


The AP reports New York Mets SP Pedro Astacio (shoulder tendinitis) was placed on the 15-day disabled list Sunday after being bothered by recurring right shoulder tendinitis that has bothered him since spring training. He had begun the season on the DL for the same problem but was activated April 24.

This isn't a bad thing James. Nobody wanted him, including us, so if he weren't injured, he'd be losing games for the Mets all season. Hopefully insurance will pick up some of his contract too.

BTW, according to Ed Coleman on the post-game, we might get to see Heilman start next Sunday.

Yeah, tell me about it! Unfreakybelievable on half of Mets being on DL! Oh hell, at least they won some and lose some. Oh well......
