A quick recap...Another guy in my league wanted to trade his A-Rod for my Pujols. I turned it down becasue I had Tejada at SS, but a not good back up for losing Pujols.

Now he's offering me A-Rod and Glaus for Pujols and Tejada. Do I take the deal now? Tejada is coming around, but A-Rod and Glaus are good too.

Thoughts? Advice?

I wouldn't but that's just me.

Wow!!!

Big time players involved in this trade....

There is not much that would make me get rid of Pujols as he is a favorite of mine but this deal may do it....

Tejada, IMO, will not be near his #'s of last year....Hr's may be close but IMO, RBI's, average and obp% will be way down.....

Glaus is solid at 3rd and will put up slightly lower #'s than Pujols, especially in the average catagory...

You get the advantage at SS and he gets the advantage at 3rd in my opinion.....What you need to figure out is, is either advantage great enough to make the trade??

My opinion?? I think it is....I see Arod as a big improvement over Tejada this season and Glaus only slightly under Pujols.....

Me, I'd make the trade as much as it would kill me to lose Pujols...I think the trade overall will make your team better.....

yeah, i'm actually leaning towards taking it, but I need to decide since the deal has been on the table for a couple of days now.

personally I wouldn't do the trade

I would not trade Tejada, he's due to have a stellar rest of the season

Pujols is the best third baseman in fantasy right now, and only Gary Sheffield ranks ahead of him among outfield eligible, and Carlos Delgado among 1b eligible

from here on out this season you would probably gain in home runs, and lose in batting average

if I were you and thinking about doing the trade, I would leave it on the table, offer up the trade with another slight upgrade (maybe in pitching) and see if he takes it before accepting this trade

IMO Pujols is too valuable to give up this early in the season. He can play three positions and could come in handy in case you lose someone to the DL. Only circumstances I would give him up is for a great pitcher and then I'd still hesitate.
Tejada I have him on one of my teams and I'm still not ready to give up on him. It was rumored he might be traded and think that could be the reason for his performance so far.

I think the reason for Tejada's bad year thus far is that he is overrated and hada career year last year. This year, the pressure is too much and he won't be back to form the rest of the year.

Take the number one player in the league and run! Pujols isn't going to get any better... you need to use some foresight!

A-Rod isn't number one bIgBaLlAs he's number ten. Pujols is five.
Tejada overrated? He's had three straight 30+HR, 100+ runs and RBI seasons. He's on pace to be just a couple short in each category of doing it again. The only thing lagging ishis BA but he's only a .265 career hitter.
