Doesn't look like we'll be getting this one in ... been raining all day long, and it's supposed to continue.
But hey .. I have tickets for tomorrow's game, the weather is supposed to cooperate, so let's play two.

Beware the rain tonight....
There is an upper level trough moving east through Ohio right now....decent chance for some thunderstorms tonight...

Too bad it didn't rain. Pirates could have used it last night...

A new rule: Always, always, ALWAYS take a camera. I was going to take a camera, but at the last minute, some dummy decided that a camera is never used, so there's no sense in hauling one around.
Could've, should've, and would've had great pictures. I had great seats (section 6, row M --- about 10 rows off the field in RF), and Pedro was playing soft toss with Conizar or whomever the Red Sox coach is ... would've been a nice picture, but no camera. Before the second game, Nomar was kneeling and saying a prayer ... that would've been a great picture too. And Nomar signed autographs for awhile (a whole other story ... to cut it short, I was literally an inch away from him taking my program to sign), and I was close enough to him that I could've shook his hand, but again ... no camera, so no picture.
Almost was in the middle of a fight between an obnoxious Yankees fan (go figure) ... the fan decided it would be a neat thing to remind the Red Sox fans trying to get Nomar's autograph that "Jeter has 4 [rings], how many does Nomar have?" Some Red Sox fan was livid ... probably would've punched the guy if the fan didn't find other fans to harass.
Went to the Murrysville Sheetz afterwards (a hot spot for hot looking females, otherwise I wouldn't go) and was talking with a Red Sox fan ... fan basically says the team should fire Lloyd, and his comment was completely unprovoked. Refreshing to hear that from a partial person ... also said Hyzdu should've played the second game, because Wilson is terrible defensively ... that was totally unsolicited, I swear. :D
If you can ignore the fact that the Pirates played 17 innings of lousy baseball (eighth inning in the first game the exception), it was an enjoyable night ... had fun, especially seeing the Yankees lost, proving Steinbrenner correct for once, but I guess if you open your mouth enough, once or twice you'll be right.

I'm upset I didn't take pictures too .. oh well. And I don't have a digital camera or scanner, so getting them online would've been a challenge.
